1. How often do I need to submit payroll remittances to the CRA?

That depends on your business size and CRA’s assigned frequency. Most small businesses remit monthly, but some may need to remit quarterly or more frequently if payroll is large. We’ll help determine your schedule and make sure everything is filed on time.

For each employee, you’ll typically need to deduct and remit:

  • Canada Pension Plan (CPP)
  • Employment Insurance (EI)
  • Income Tax
